A mighty river. Look at those little humans in their fishing boat!

Welcome back to the Scotland photo series! This is the penultimate part of the Scotland series. We continue our journey around this beautiful land. My heart always longs for the mysterious, ancient beauty of Scotland… Hopefully I can awake your longing to go there, too!  🙂 Like always, I like to mix the photos, different places and seasons, so we do not get bored!

Oh, not to worry! No one was injured during this photo shoot. 😉 This was an old, abandoned ship which had sunk. I found some beauty in that. There is probably a poem or a story to be found and created from this picture...

A green valley to walk in is all I need, it is like a healing balm for my soul

O castle from days gone by, what stories do you tell the sky… Ok, I will stop with the poetic nonsense now, I swear. At least for now. 🙂

We walk down a mysterious path where it is obvious that the forest has claimed this bit of land as its own.

A lot of places in the Highlands have this feeling of the great wide open..

We have stopped at one of the many lakes that act as mirrors for the amazing scnenery..

Sometimes the “special light” (which I have talked about before), that exists in Scotland, brings a sense of doom in certain places and scenes… I understand why so many writers and artists love Scotland, for inspiration!

I hope you enjoyed this part of the photo series and that you will want to come back for the next part – the last of the Scotland photos! But, we still have the very last photos of Ireland left, too. And there is more! I have a new trip planned in April, so I will have to try and bring some photos back from there aswell, won’t I? I will keep the location as a “mystery spot”, for now (although some of you may know already, I’m not sure).

Hope to see you next time here, in the meantime, I might subject you to (the agony of?) reading more of my experiments with poetry, or some other stories, who knows. 🙂  You never know what you will get, here at SurvivedNarc! See you around, friends!
