What better way to clear your head than to experience some calming scenery, preferably by the sea? Especially when your life has been somewhat turbulent recently. So, as soon as I knew Mr. Cat was gonna be alright (for now) and wasn’t really sick anymore, but doing quite well (what a miracle by the way, almost makes me a believer again. Almost), I set out for a few hours on the countryside.

This is a wonderful, calming, romantic song, that I highly recommend! A bit unkown to the “big audiences” I believe. (It is not that old classic “Sail away”, this is a completely different song). I love this guy – a little “different” singer/song writer!

Chasing the calm, the serenity, the big skies, the scenery that brings me peace. These photos were just taken spontaneously with my cel phone camera and then slightly edited, but I think they came out quite alright…  So I hope you enjoy my little photo journal from this weekend!

“Sail away with me honey, I put my heart in your hands….” (Lyrics from the song in the video)

See how the water is “divided” by light and shadow; on the opposite side, it’s all green and reflecting dark shadows from trees, and on “our” side, you see the sky reflected instead! I loved that and thought it was beautiful.

On that rocky little “islet” to the left, was a guy… he was wrapped in a sleeping bag and was reading a book. Seemed like he spent the night on that rock, surrounded only by the sea and the stars…. no tent. I’d like to do that  (not if it rains!)

A café/hostel up in the forest by the road. Great pies, cookies and sandwiches! And tables on their lawn.

This headland reaches quite far out into the sea and at the end, its narrow form widens and forms a little island! A beautiful walk.

Hope you all have had a nice weekend and thanks for all the invaluable support lately! I’ll be back with some other stuff in the beginning of the week. Some really mad stuff about the narcissist, and perhaps some poetry, I believe. Take care out there! Love/ Survived 💜
